We have a date!

Well, everything is official now. We are leaving on August 13, 2008. The flight will last over 20 hours! We take off from Detroit and head to Chicago, there we get on a different plane to San Francisco, CA. Once we are in CA we board the plane to Australia!!! If insanity does not reach me first we arrive in Australia at 6:10am August 15, which is 8:10pm August 14 in the United States. Crazy, this time change! So, my last day of work will be August 8. I already have a mother in Australia interested in me babysitting for about 10 hours per week, so that will be nice to start off with. That's all for now.

The beginning

Well, Ray and I are busy putting details together for our trip to Australia. Tomorrow the details should be worked out as far as where our dog Molly goes, and who will take care of our home while we are gone. Once our work visas are in, the plane tickets will be bought. Unfortunetly, it sounds like Ray and I will be flying in different parts of the plane. He told me I could ride business and he would ride economy. (HaHaHa...yeah right) We actually might even have to take two different flights which would suck, but one can't complain when it is a free trip to Australia. My work is keeping me on-call so at least I will have a job when I return. So, now we wait.
